Many fundamental challenges remain in the process of scientific and technological innovation, awaiting the collaborative breakthrough of academic circles and industries. SJTU-BOC Institute of Technology & Finance is keen to join hands with industries to advance research and development as well as independent innovation in terms of practical issues by leveraging their respective advantageous resources, thereby shortening the journey of the application of advances in science and technology from “laboratory” to “production line”, and jointly strengthening the scientific and technological innovation capability of Shanghai and even the Yangtze River Delta region.

By cooperation in building innovation laboratories, research laboratories and research centers, we can acquire complementary experiences and effectively accelerate the gathering of scientific research talents and innovation resources to produce more fruitful research results.

As enterprises are significant participants of and colleges and universities are important think-tanks for promoting technological innovation, both parties should collaborate on project declaration and research centered on actual issues and demands based on their respective strengths.
