Professor LIU Shaoxuan from Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) has been named a nominee for the 14th “Kaiyuan” Teaching Excellence Award at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The final evaluation ceremony was held on December 24, 2024, at the A100 Student Center at Minhang Campus.

During his presentation, Professor Liu engaged with the audience on the theme of “innovation,” skillfully introducing the IDEO case study. He vividly explained IDEO’s innovation processes and methodologies, inspiring attendees through interactive discussion.

Professor Liu embodies the educational philosophy of teaching students according to their aptitude while fostering mutual growth between teacher and student. Congratulations to Professor LIU Shaoxuan on this well-deserved recognition!

About Professor LIU Shaoxuan

Professor LIU Shaoxuan serves as Executive Dean of SJTU-BOC Institute of Technology and Finance and Vice Dean of Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of California and specializes in supply chain management, operations strategy, technology finance, data-driven operations management and innovation, digital transformation, and transportation policy.

His research has been published in leading international academic journals. He has led multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education, local governments, and enterprises. Professor Liu teaches undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, MTT, and executive education courses. His teaching excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including a Second Prize National Teaching Achievement Award and First Prize Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award.

Professor Liu holds several key positions in academic and professional organizations, including:
